One of the things that I hate is how we don’t really have a good solution for placing garbage. Here in Chicago, we have alleys and can store them in the back of the house. But in LaGrange, we don’t have alleys and store the cans on the side of the house. And on garbage pick-up day, it goes to the front of the house.In New York, it’s even more disgusting. They pile up the garbage on the front sidewalk. Totally gross.🤢
Last weekend, my family and I went to Puerto Rico, and they had their garbage cans in the ground. It was out of sight for the most part.
When I told my cousin, who lives there, how good of an idea that was, he told me that it has its cons as well.
He says that in Puerto Rico, it rains all the time and those in-ground garbage cans get filled up with water and it’s very difficult to drain. This was a problem that I had not thought about.
Many times, we do not foresee issues until we see them in person. Our teeth are no different.
