Pretty regularly, I get phone calls from my dental lab. It’s always to let me know how certain cases are going and how the case is looking.
I’ll also get a video from the lab technician, showing me things that we need to adjust when we deliver the case.
This level of communication is not just with our dental lab but all the specialty groups that we use.

Every month, I meet with 5 dental specialists, and we go over dental cases. We will review existing cases that each of us are working on. We give feedback and ideas.
At these sessions, we discuss the best action plan to help a patient receive the ultimate dental health and function.
Getting this perspective from different dentists and different experience levels helps me become a better and more conscientious dentist. I’ve been in groups like this for my entire career.
I think, in life, having an inner circle of people that share your common goals is essential. Maybe it’s your family, friends, or colleagues.
When they genuinely have your back, they can give you insight into a matter or help encourage you to succeed.

Everyone has their own experiences and backgrounds. And this only adds to the level of input they can offer.
That’s the way I feel when I go to these classes and discuss ongoing dental cases.
When you see a dentist like me, not only do you get over 20 years of dental experience, you also get the backing of several other specialty dentists. They help me become better and help you achieve the smile of your dreams.
