My son, Finn, and I have been trying to sell a bike online for the last week.

We’ve had over ten people who were interested in buying the bike.

We will make an agreement to meet with them and then the people will never show up. No message or anything. Just no-show.

Then we are back to messaging more people who show interest. Hoping they will show.

We also see this at Dente, when we are trying to hire new team members.

We will have a job posting, get hundreds of applications, call and talk to tons of people.

They seem like a good fit by phone, so we set up an interview, and the applicant never shows up. No call, no message. Just no-show. Out of twenty scheduled interviews, maybe one will show up.

This lack of presence and commitment is showing up in multiple areas. I am seeing it everywhere.

It’s a lack of enthusiasm and love for what they do. You feel it the second you walk into many businesses as well. Even dental offices.

Many of the dental offices today are owned by a corporation or a big conglomerate. The office has a cold sterile feeling. Many of the offices will have you see a different dentist at each appointment.

At Dente, we are different. I am the practicing dentist at Dente. I am also the founder/owner of Dente. I opened Dente 20 years ago and have been practicing dentistry for over 25 years.

Many of our staff have been with us for 10 years or more.

Our office has a family atmosphere. Many of our patients have been with us since the beginning. And they refer us to their family and friends as well. That is how we continue to grow.

We do our best to make sure each patient that walks through the front door feels comfortable and welcome.

If you are looking for a friendly, welcoming dental office, visit us at mydente.com or call 773-292-1911.
