I’ve always been a guy that has noticed his surroundings.
As a kid, I would notice all the buildings and streets. I would pay close attention to how to get to places.
My father owned gas stations, and he always trusted me when I worked there. The second that I was able to drive the tow truck, my dad allowed me to tow cars.
At first, he rode along with me, but he allowed me to tow the cars on my own pretty quickly.
I had a very good sense of direction and was able to locate the stranded cars pretty easily.
I was very aware of restaurants and stores as I drove. I could tell you pretty much all the McDonald’s locations in the entire north side of Chicago.

I still have a really good sense of direction but the things that I’m noticing now are different than when I was younger.
Ever since my heart attack, I’ve been noticing where hospitals are located. This was never a thing that I would pay attention to.
We recently went to Florida for spring break and the first thing I looked up was where the nearest hospital was located to our hotel.
After a heart attack, a lot of people experience some type of PTSD. I definitely did. Having a traumatic event will change the ways we look at things.
Many people have experienced traumatic dental appointments. That event helps in creating a severe apprehension to going to the dentist. These people will avoid the dentist for years and sometimes even decades.
At Dente, we recognize that a big part of the American population will avoid going to the dentist because of fear. That is why we offer Anxiety Free Dentistry.

Patients are given anxiety reducing medication that helps them stay calm during their dental appointment.
These patients are in a relaxed state and are able to get through their dental appointment.
Many of these patients will claim that their Anxiety Free Dental appointment was the best appointment they’ve ever had.
If you are nervous about going to the dentist and would like an Anxiety Free Dental consultation, please visit us at mydente.com or call 773-292-1911 to schedule your appointment.
